It all begins with an idea.

Adding Value and Making a Difference Beyond the Farm Gate

Plenty of dairy farming experience and small business operations had taught me a lot. But I was looking for more opportunities to grow my skills and experience, to give even more back to community and follow my passion of sustainability.

Following some good advice, I joined the Agri-Women’s Trust to explore opportunities in governance, upskilling many attributes and really honing my abilities. This organisation enabled me to enhance my critical thinking, read fast (and between the lines!) , plan appropriately and understand and problem-solve complex issues.

Today, my resume reads incredibly well for someone who started what many would call ‘working life’ after 40!
